Mr. William L. Timmons, Sr, age 61, of Frankford, Delaware and formerly of Millsboro, Delaware passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Accentcare Hospice Suite in Wilmington Hospital, Wilmington, Delaware.
Born in Seaford, Delaware, a son of Laura Mae Blades and Francis E. Timmons, Sr.; he was one of six children. He attended Sussex Central High School. Prior to retirement, he was the owner and operator of Hannah's Hauling as a truck driver. He began truck driving as a teenager and had enjoyed his work over the years with different trucking firms. He was known commonly by his CB radio handle of "Dreamer". Along with his friends and family, he loved to go fishing. Dreamer loved and enjoyed listening to all types and genres of music. He enjoyed traveling and watching racing whether the race was down a drag strip or dirt style racing. William enjoyed spending time with his family. In addition to his late parents and his stepfather, Phillip "Pee Wee" Townsend, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Terry W. Timmons and Francis E. "Tim" Timmons, Jr., as well as his daughter, Stormy Timmons. William is survived by his children; Hannah R. Collins (Nick Jones) and Dawn Timmons, his brothers; Frankie Timmons (Bonny) and Mark Hammond (Joann); his sister, Susan Townsend; his niece and primary caregiver, Ashley Hammond as well as several other nieces and nephews. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Williams Funeral Home and Burial Services. Services are private.
