William George Totleben
William "Bill" G. Totleben 70, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, after a brief illness, surrounded by his family. He was born in Erie, PA on April 8, 1951, son of the late Romeo and Dorothy Mainzer Totleben.
Bill graduated from Tech Memorial HS, class of 1970. He worked in the trucking industry and retired from Regal Services of Ripley, NY. He loved spending time with his family and taking care of his grand pups. When his granddaughters were born, he became their "Papa". He frequently dined with his family at Panos Restaurant and when not with family, he very much enjoyed his solitude and recliner.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his son, Jason Totleben. He is survived by his son Dana Totleben, wife Shannon Totleben; daughters-in-law Janice Totleben and Caren Totleben. Granddaughters Morgan (Scottie) Brown, Courtney (Bradley) Mitchell and Lia, Becca, and Keira Totleben. Siblings; James (Nancy) Totleben, Heidi (Nick) Clement, Monica (Ken) Crooks, Mark (Maureen) Totleben. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and one great-grandson.
Family and friends may celebrate his life downstairs at Christ United Methodist Church, 2615 W 32nd St on Friday, January 7, 2022, from 12:00 pm-2:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. There will be a short service in the sanctuary beforehand at 11:00 am if anyone would like to attend. Casual attire is preferred. Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. handled arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Erie Humane Society, 2407 Zimmerly Road, Erie, Pa 16506.
