Publish in a newspaper

William A. Warren, "Bill", 76 of Jackson, MI passed away on 10/12/2025.
Bill was born on April 2, 1949 in Cheyenne, WY, the oldest son of William and Mary Etta Warren (Farrand). Bill graduated from Bay City Central and later earned a degree from Delta College. It was while attending Delta College that he met the love of his life, Cheri Birnbaum, and they were married just 3 months later. They were married for almost 26 years at her unexpected passing in 1998.
Bill worked as a Dispatch Supervisor for Jackson Transit Authority for over 20 years until he retired in 2015. Bill loved all sports, both on TV and live. He was an avid Michigan Wolverine fan, often attending Michigan Football games with his dear friend Bill Zeller. He also enjoyed playing poker with his many friends, and competed in wheelchair basketball, bowling, and pool tournaments over the years.
Bill is lovingly remembered by his children, Aaron (Renee') Warren of Jackson, Tammy (Maurice) Moore of Lansing, and Brandon Warren of Jackson; beautiful grandchildren Marissa "Riss" Moore, Gabby Sixberry, Tori Warren, Demetrius "Little D" Moore; and spunky great grandchild Ro'Meir "Ro" Rials. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding him in death are his wife Cheri Lynn Warren (Birnbaum), his parents William and Mary Etta Warren, and his brother Jim Warren.
A visitation will take place on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at JaxNaz Church, 3905 Clinton Rd, Jackson, MI. A luncheon follows in the JaxNaz Commons immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Disability Connections in Bill's honor.
