William "Bill" Wroble ObituaryWilliam "Bill" Wroble, of Freehold, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025, at CentraState Hospital. Born in Bayonne, Bill spent time in Whitehouse Station before making Freehold his home three years ago.
Before retirement, Bill worked as a driver, compassionately serving individuals with disabilities and senior citizens. A proud U.S. Army veteran, he honorably served his country during the Vietnam War.
Bill was a hardworking man who found joy in life's simple pleasures - especially traveling with his family and taking trips to Atlantic City. Known for his free spirit and ever-present smile, Bill had a warmth that could light up any room. His joy was contagious, and his presence left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him - even if only for a moment.
Bill is predeceased by his parents Edward J. & Kathleen Wroble as well as his sister Alice Daniele and brother Edward Wroble and his niece Patricia Wroble and nephew Edward T. Wroble. Surviving is his adored siblings Gail Drobb & her husband David and James Wroble & his partner Michelle, his nieces and nephews Norma Wroble, Kathleen Daniele, James Wroble Jr., Shawn Wroble and Joseph Drobb, his best friend Lena as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Calling hours will take place on Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm at the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, NJ. A burial at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington will take place at Wednesday at 11am.
