It is with great sorrow to announce that William "Bill" Edward Wynes Sr. passed away peacefully on March 11, 2022, in Leesburg, FL at the age of 76.
Bill was born in Niagara Falls, N.Y. to George and Sarah (McLeod) Wynes on March 25, 1945. He graduated from Niagara Falls High School. Bill married the late Judi (Casey) Wynes in Niagara Falls, NY in 1967.
After graduating high school Bill worked at Wynes' Petroleum until they closed. He also worked at Union Carbide and he retired from Niagara Development & Manufacturing (NDM). Bill loved camping, working on cars, and most of all his FAMILY.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents George and Sarah (McLeod) Wynes, his beloved wife Judi (Casey) Wynes, his brother Norman Wynes, and his great grandson Zane D. Wynes.
Bill is survived by his four children, William E. Wynes, Jr, David (Tina Gonzales) Wynes, James Wynes, and his favorite daughter Suzanne (Brian) Chiaramonte; his brother George (Ann Broderick) Wynes, sister in-law Joyce (Perriman) Wynes; grandchildren Ashley Wynes, Ericka Wynes, David Wynes, Jr., Sara Chiaramonte, Jeffrey Wynes, and Danny Chiaramonte; five great grandchildren.
There will be no prior visitation or service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital.

Bill and I were good friends when we both attended public school in Niagara Falls. We only lived one block apart. I would visit with Bill and his brother Norman at their parent's home, not far from Hyde Park. We enjoyed target shooting using Bill's Benjamin pneumatic are rifle.
