Wilma A. Cook, 86, of Lacarne passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at her daughters home with her daughter and son by her side. She was born August 28, 1938 in Tunneltown, WV the daughter of Burlie and Catherine (Rhoder) Stevensen. She married Walter D. Cook on August 30, 1958 and he preceded her in death on September 7, 2021. Wilma worked as a packer for Silgan Plastics for 32 years. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and she enjoyed playing bingo and gambling.
Surviving are her children: Robin Hatmaker of Oak Harbor, Kenneth Cook of Lacarne; grandchildren: James (Jacquelynn) Hatmaker, Jr, Shalynn (Dan) Jester, Jason Cook; great-grandchildren: Ava, Jasper, MacKenzie and Braelynn Hatmaker, Addison and Oakley Schmidt, Easton Jester, Jessie and Charles Cook. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Jeff and 10 siblings.
Per her wishes, private graveside services will be held at Lacarpe Cemetery, Lacarne, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to Heartland Hospice, 907 W. State St. Suite A, Fremont, OH 43420.
