A Visitation will be held at Matthews Funeral Home in Jennings, LA, October 23, 2024, from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at 2:00 PM with a rosary recited at 1:15 PM.
Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Jennings, LA.
Wilma was born on May 2,1949, in Welsh, LA to Mark and Augustine Ardion.Wilma is survived by her husband of 57 years, Curris Lee Miller; daughters, Jennifer Derise, Heather Miller; four grandchildren; Zachary Morvant, Kristan Morvant, Mason Miller and Taylor Derise; seven great grandchildren; Kynzleigh Morvant, Liam Morvant, Kyndall Moss, Kynley Moss, Kortlyn Derise, Grayson Harris and Nova Derise.
Wilma is preceded in death by her parents, Mark Ardoin and Augustine Chassion Ardoin; two brothers, John Edward Ardoin, Lawrence Ardoin, two sisters, Eliza Manuel, Rosa Belle Begnaud; granddaughter, Allison Derise.
Wilma was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Wilma enjoyed sewing, making wedding cakes, dancing and shopping. Wilma will be greatly missed.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Matthews Funeral Home JENNINGS, 511 North Cutting Avenue Jennings, La 70546.
