Yolande Faulk Patterson

Yolande Faulk Patterson passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025 at her home in Nesbit, MS. She was 89 years old. She was the daughter of the late Roy Edward Faulk, Sr. and Ruby Maggie Phillips Faulk. After graduating from Byars Hall School in Covington, TN, Yolande worked briefly in Memphis where she met her husband, Morris Patterson. They were married on July 12, 1958 at Charleston Baptist Church, Charleston, TN. Afterwards, Yolande became a housewife and worked raising their four children. She loved studying her Bible, gardening, spending time with her family and Christmas shopping!
Yolande was preceded in death by her loving husband, Morris, and her beloved son, Steve, her baby sister Ruby Jean, and her brothers, Roy, Jr., Jimmy, and Rodney, Sr.
She is survived and will be terribly missed by her devoted daughters, Jennifer Bragg (Tom), Lou Ann Griffin (Bill), and Marijean Wagner; her grandchildren, Brittney Patterson, Casey Cheek (Justin), Shelbi Rollis (Scott), Sam Bragg (Elizabeth) and Elle McGuire (Britt); great grandchildren, her much loved brothers Ray and Paul, and many nieces and nephews whom she adored.
Yolande's funeral service will be held on April 19, 2025, at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home 1701 Highway 51 S Covington, TN 38019 at 11:00am with visitation starting an hour prior at 10:00am. She will be buried at Charleston Cemetery across the street from the church where she and Morris were married.
