She actively organized and helped the Chinese community in the area during the pandemic for fresh food supplies directly from the farms.
She was diagnosed colon cancer in Feb. 2022. She fought hard for 3 years. The exhaustion from both the disease and chemotherapy did not bend her back for a single moment. She kept helping the community during this time. She passed away peacefully in sleep.
