Zachary Jared-Mariha Simpson was born April 3, 1995, in Branson, Missouri. He was the son of Zach Simpson and Cecilia Evans. As a young boy he lived in Illinois. Zach moved back to Forsyth in 2010 where he attended Forsyth High School. He was active at the school with the theater department and later pursued acting. Zach was a musician who created, sang and performed his own music.
While attending the River Church youth group, he met Rick Swan. Rick opened his home to Zach when he needed a place to stay and as a young teenager professed his love for the Lord, accepting the Lord in his heart.
