Zoltan Domotor

It is with great sadness that we advise that my father, Zoltan Domotor passed away last Thursday evening September 12th the age of 88 years old. He is survived by myself Franz, my sister, Sylvia. Brother-in-law Walter, my children, Christopher, Alexander, Eric, Julia, daughter-in-law Jessica my dad's great granddaughter Delilah, his granddaughter Nicole, and his other two great grandchildren, Kameron and Mackenzie in addition to all of our family in Hungary and Austria.
My dad was a colorful person for those you who knew him. He was an artist who painted amazing paintings in his younger days, played the accordion, as well as did all of his own tattoos. Both my parents immigrants, my dad from Hungary, and my mom from Austria ultimately made their way to America to find a better life and live the dream that everyone would talk about. Both of my parents worked. My dad worked days and my mom would work at night to give us the best life they could and give us all the things we needed. I remember our yearly summer vacations. We would usually go camping for two weeks. Some of my most vivid and wonderful memories growing up as well as the occasional trip to Austria and Hungary where we met our extended family that I would not have even known about, had we not gone there. I remember summer evenings as a child we would go out on our side street and play frisbee together. We would do it for hours on end through the summers and one of my most vivid memories of my dad. I will truly miss my dad's 7 PM call every night. He loved his wife more than life itself and missed her dearly. He loved gardening, his pool as well as his cat. He is now in heaven with his wife once again.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, September 19, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM, with prayer services beginning at 6:30PM, at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT.
