Anna Louise (Allen) Hampton of Wilmington, Delaware passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Compassionate Care Hospice in St. Francis Hospital. She was born May 22, 1939 in Cleveland, Texas, and was the daughter of the late Eloise and Cooper Allen.
She attended Cleveland High School class of 1957. After her time as a homemaker, she worked as a bookkeeper in Texas and and as an au-pair for numerous families in southern Florida. Anna loved doing arts and crafts and spent much of her other free time gardening, baking and taking care of her beloved pets. She retired to Delaware and spent her last three years there as a resident at Gilpin Hall nursing home.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Richard Lee Allen.
She is survived by her three children, sons Barron Allen Parish (wife Jenifer) and Russell Owen Parish (partner Bill LaRock) and daughter Pamela Susan Parish (husband George Petroff). She is also survived by sisters Bobbie Willson, Opal Abney, Deanie Coates, Patsy Johnson and brother Gene Allen. She is also survived by three grandchildren - Grant Parish, Travis Parish and Madeleine Parish.
A memorial gathering will be held at 10AM Saturday, April 15 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Cleveland, Texas.
