David Wilson Harrison, age 71 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016. He was born September 6, 1944 in Kennard, Texas to parents Woodrow Wilson Harrison and Helen Marie Harrison who preceded him in death along with his wife, Patricia Harrison; brother, Jim Tom Harrison; sisters, Joan Oliver and Judy Hamilton; and grandson, Riley Harrison.
Mr. Harrison enjoyed tinkering in his shop with anyone who needed help, mechanical or otherwise. He also enjoyed playing dominoes, fishing and "those darned old meetings".
Survivors include his daughter, Kerry Harrison Brenkman and husband Steve; sons, David Cody Harrison and wife Sheila, and Samuel Layne Harrison and wife Anne; sisters, Brenda Cole, Debbie Boyer and Becky Duncan; brothers, Doug Harrison and Steve Harrison; grandchildren, Caitlyn Kelley, Kyle Brenkman, Caleb Harrison, Darby Brenkman, Dustin Harrison and Chelsea Harrison; great-grandchild, Waylon Kelley; other survivors, Tammy Harrison and many other special friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 25, 2016 at First Baptist Church, Coldspring, Texas.
