Donald Knobloch, 74, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away on March 25, 2017. He was born July 30, 1942, to the late Otto and Mary Knobloch of Tomball.
Don graduated from the University of Texas Law School. He practiced law for many years in the Houston area, working primarily in the fields of real estate and financial management. He loved God, family, and country. He was an Elder of the Brenham Presbyterian Church and was instrumental in the planning for the Church Fellowship Hall. He served six years on the board of directors for Cho-Yeh Camp and Conference Retreat Center in Livingston, Texas. Don was a kind man and always willing to help others. He leaves many who loved him and he will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his first wife, Victoria Witherspoon Knobloch, and sons Chuck Knobloch and Paul Pylate. He is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years, Jean Knobloch of Bellville, Tx., sons: John Pylate, David Pylate, and Tim Knobloch, grandchildren: Maki, Gabi, Jason, Rachel, Sarah, Kyle, Hannah, and Brandon; sister Susie Logan, and brother Joe Knobloch.
A private burial service was held earlier at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 6, 2:00 p.m. at Brenham Presbyterian Church, Brenham, Texas with Rev. Dr. Brent Hampton officiating.
