Doye Hales Rush, age 82 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015. She was born April 16, 1933 in Security, Texas to parents Babe and Mable Hales who preceded her in death along with her husband, Dee Rush; and daughter, Penny Rush.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Tenorio, Ressie and husband Mike Jenkins, Tanja and husband John Joslin, and Ruby and husband Kelly Ford; son, Gene and wife Wilma Mettlen; brothers and sisters, Cricket Perry, Rufus Hales, Sonny Hales, Sis Snider, Franky Hales, Martha Gray, Donnie Hales and Ronnie Hales; grandchildren, Salina and husband David Leonardt, Mindy and husband Brian Bortz, Tiffany Jenkins and Octavio Castro, Marcus Mettlen and TJ Alvard, Joshua Ford, Ashly Ford and Blake Satterfield, Heidi and husband Clayton Cronin and Paxton Joslin; great-grandchildren, Scott, Kurt, Matthew and Brett Leonardt, Mayson, Katie and Brady Bortz, Braydon, Tavian Mettlen, Cayden Garcia, and Tyler Satterfield; numerous brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Ken Worley and Troy Moore will preside over graveside services held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Security Cemetery, Security, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Friday, April 24, 2015 at Pace Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas.
