On Thursday, February 25, 2021, Edna Earl Orenduff "Foxie", our loving mother passed away at the age of 90. Edna was born November 21, 1930 to Earl and Bessie Orenduff in Melissa, Texas. Edna graduated from McKinney High School in 1948. She decided to forgo college in order to help her family because her father was in an accident and was paralyzed for 17 years. She worked for Penny's in McKinney to help support her family. She then went on to work for Texas Instruments , where she was the secretary for Jack Kilby who invented the microchip, which was the genesis of almost every producing electronic used today. Later in life she was a medical transcriptionist. On November 21, 1952 she married the love of her life, Clarence Otis Williams, "Blackie". They raised two children Joe and Vicki. The family transferred from Texas to Louisiana, California and back to Texas. Texas was always her true home. Edna had a passion for painting. Her paintings were admired by family and friends. She loved gardening and her yard was the most beautiful on the block. She also loved the beach and collecting seashells. She was known for her infectious smile, great wit and kind and compassionate spirt. Edna was preceded in death by her parents; husband "Blackie" Williams; sister Lillie Mills.
