Ilene Harriett Task, age 77, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday evening, November 8, 2017, at Heritage Retreat Care Home. Ilene was born on July 31, 1940, to Sadie and Harry Wolfe in Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated from Forest Park High School and Sinai Hospital School of Nursing. Ilene was incredibly proud of her children and grandchildren. She especially adored the relationship she had with her daughter and best friend, Sheryl. Ilene enjoyed staying busy playing cards and games, watching movies, reading books, doing crossword puzzles, and maintaining friend and family connections.. Those who knew her will remember her for her daring fashion, awesome cooking, independence, strong will, care for people, beauty, spunk, and a relentless spirit.
Ilene is survived by her 6 children Larry Caplan, Brian Caplan, Marshall Caplan, Robert Task, Michael Task and Sheryl Enright and her 6 grandchildren Jonah Caplan, Sarah Cannon, Emily Caplan, Alexandra Task, Spencer Task and Catherine Enright.
