Jackie was a great friend and mentor. She made me laugh about problems, gave advice that was short and to the point (and right on), and supported all of my efforts. I admired her more than I can say.
We would go to Quilt Festival together and walk the exhibits. Her perspective was always enlightening, accepting, and fun. She was always ready to learn and try something new and had the most wonderful way with color.
Her priority was family but friends were right up there too. She was a great communicator, keeping track of what was happening in all of our lives. She knew just what to do and say to make people feel better. But she would also tell you when to pull up your socks and get on with it.
I will miss her.

I knew Jackie through P.E.O. Whenever she spoke I wanted to listen because I knew it would be something interesting or something that would make me laugh! She was just a delightful person and I am blest to have known her.Murph Edmonson
