Jim was a faithful friend to my Jim. He drove from Humble to have lunch with us every Friday when J.K. Could no longer drive and leave the house. Best friends. Jim Turner was a good natured man and a Christian. We were privileged to know him. R. lawson

Jim Turner was the best friend anyone could ask for in their life. Jim was a faithful friend to my father Jim Lawson from the 3rd grade, in Chichasha Ok, until his death in 2011. Jim T. would visit my father regularly (as Dad's microstrokes that left him unable live a normal life). He would take him out for a burger and conversations of times past, OU and OSU football. When Dad was no longer able to leave the house, Jim T would bring the food to him and give Dad a reason to smile. Of all of his friends, Jim Turner was the only one there for him in his twilight. Jim Turner will always be loved and remembered by the Lawson Family as an example of faith, love and generosity. There is a hole left in this world that cannot be filled by anyone else. God is getting a good one. God bless you sir, it was a privilege to know you.
