John Robert "Bob" McComb lll, 69, of Plum Grove, Texas passed away on Wednesday December 30, 2015. He was born on August 24, 1946 in Temple, Texas to John Robert McComb Jr. and Christine Aroclia McComb (Rowan) both of whom preceded him in death along with his older brother James McComb. Left to cherish his memory is his sons John Robert McComb lV, Stephen Derek McComb, and Charles Robert McComb. Daughters Tammy Long, Jenny Berton with husband Jeff Berton, and Christine Lorene McComb. Grandchildren Dana Wisener, Gary Harling, Roper Ellison, Micah Harrison, Brittany Berton, Chelsey Berton, and Karliee McComb. Older brother William Dale McComb. Nephews Dale McComb Jr., Jody McComb, and Niece Raquel Dillon. Among other family, friends, and loved ones.
A memorial will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016 at The Lonesome Dove Rustic Venue at 2 pm located at 1127 FM 2025 Clevelan, Texas. Pastor Cherie Beltram presiding. It will also be a celebration of his life with BBQ, music, and fellowship All that would like to attend please contact Stephen McComb at 281-620-9147.

Just now heard about Big Bob. Met Bob back in the 80's when he worked at Johnson Spec. Just a fun-loving kind of guy. Painting and beer was his specialties. Will miss him.
