Kellie Howell Laney passed peacefully with her family at her side on August 30, 2017. She is preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Marcus Laney, mother Shirley Howell and father Clayton Clark Howell Jr. and her Aunt Jackie Browning. She is survived by her children Kimberly Laney Tonkin and her husband William Derek Tonkin, her son Stephen Gregory Laney and his wife Mica Laney, the loves of her life her grandchildren Kaleb Jeffrey Johnson, Taylor Bryan Johnson, Laney Elizabeth Tonkin, Domynic Trent Cassell, Kollen Trent Sartain, Bradley Clayton Laney and Brantley James Laney. Her sister Connie Howell Heller, nieces Deedee Mae Denby, Bertie Diane Denby, and Stacey Holliday. Great nephews Saylar Clayton Denby and John Ayers. Uncle Jack Browning and Cousin Kari Lee Browning. She had a heart as big as the sky. She was our Mom, our Mar, our Muffin, and she will forever be loved and missed. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 5pm to 7:30pm at Rosewood Funeral Home Humble. Funeral services will be held September 8, 2017 at 12 noon in Rosewood Humble Chapel, interment will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park.
