Maria Hanft

1944 - 2021

Maria Jimenez Hanft was granted her angel wings on January 16, 2021. Her final days were spent surrounded by family at her home in Conroe, TX. Maria was born September 21, 1944 in Loraine, TX, to her Father Frank Jimenez and Mother Manuela Nunez. She moved to Conroe at the age of 19 and started a family. She was a homemaker and caretaker. She spent her time sewing, gardening, taking care of her property, her animals, and her loved ones. She enjoyed cooking and serving others without complaint. Maria was a very strong, selfless and caring person.

She is survived by her Brothers Bill and Elizabeth Jimenez, Joe and Theresa Jimenez. Her sisters Beatrice and Richard Ware, Sophia and Mike Perez. Her daughter MaryAnn Chavarria Gleason and James Bradley. Her son Jessie and Beverly Chavarria, Rickey Chavarria, Mackey and Pam Castillo, William "Bill" and Michelle Hanft.

Maria had 11 Grandkids. Kristian Gleason Brian, Felisha Gleason, Natasha Chavarria, Jessie Lee Grass, Steven McDaniel, Roxanne Castillo Harrison, Jodi Moore Hill, Shaun Moore, Rickey Chavarria JR., William Hanft, Luis Hanft.

Maria also loved all 21 of her Great Grandkids.

She is proceeded in death by Father Frank and Beatrice Jimenez. Brother's Bill and Joe Jimenez. Her son Felix Chavarria and Husband William "Bill" Warren Hanft.

Family will be having a Celebration of Life in honor of Maria Jimenez Hanft
