Martha Williams Obituary

Martha Lou Williams was born in Orange, Texas on November 30, 1943 to Gracie Dismuke. She passed away August 1, 2021 at the age of 77.

She studied cosmetology, receiving her license in 1969. Martha opened her own hair salon right here in Conroe, TX called "Talk of the Town". She was a very intelligent woman who carried many hats. She was an accountant and an office manager later in her career, but more than anything Martha was known for her kind heart and gentle loving soul. She was the best care taker to all living beings. Martha could and would nurse any stray animal back to health no matter their severity. She took pride in caring for and nurturing all; especially her husband, Jesse Williams.

You never saw Martha without Jesse and never saw Jesse without Martha. Martha and Jesse were married for 63 wonderful years.

Martha was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Williams, mother, Gracie Dismuke, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters. She is survived by her loving husband, Jesse Williams, son Rodney Williams, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other loving family and friends beyond measures.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 5th at 2:00 p.m. at Conroe Memorial Park Cemetery.
