Funeral Services for Robert Newton Ellisor, Jr. of New Waverly, Texas will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021, at 11:00 am at Hawthorne Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Pennington officiating. Interment will follow in Old Waverly Cemetery under the direction of Conroe Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 am in the church prior to the funeral service.

Robert was born on July 27, 1955, in Conroe, Texas to Robert Newton Ellisor, Sr., and Margie Ellisor. He passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021, in Houston, Texas at the age of 66.

Robert is survived by his loving family: Daughter and son-in-law, Shelby and Dylan Jenkins; grandchildren, Brynley, Bice, Brax, and Brody; cousin, Joe Adams and his sons, Joey, Derrick and Holt.

Robert worked for TXU Communications as a Lineman for over 20 years. After leaving TXU he became a full-time rancher and more recently, loved working his land with his daughter and son-in-law.

Robert was a longtime member of Hawthorne Baptist Church in New Waverly going back generations. He was a kind, honest and generous man who was always was there to lend a helping hand. Our man of few words, our loving dad, grandfather, and friend is dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
