Sandra J. McCarty, age 71, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2015 after a short illness. Sandy is survived by her loving husband Fred C. McCarty, Jr. and her two beloved stepsons, Matt and his wife Heather, and Brian and his wife Laura, and four beautiful grandchildren. Sandy is also survived by her mother Lou, her brothers Tom and Alan, and sisters Marcia, Kathy and Amy and their families. For her family and her friends who knew her well, she was a loving, caring, giving and thoughtful person who was always willing to help family and friends at any time. She will be missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers the family suggest a memorial donation to M D Anderson Cancer Center, the American Cancer Society, or to a charity of your choice. Private funeral services are being handled by Rosewood Funeral Home.

Dear Fred and Family, I am so shocked and saddened that Sandy is gone. I really love her so much and love you all too. I will miss seeing her so much. My love to you all.
