Having known this beautiful lady for over 70 years, we are saddened to learn of her passing. With that said, we will rejoice in the many beautiful memories that come to mind as we reminisce and reflect on our years of friendship.
Marie was a kind, patient, understanding wife and mother who loved her family deeply. She had a special place in her heart, too, for her many friends and we loved that about her - more especially since we've known her since we were children and neighbors to her.
Her faith molded her life so that she exemplified all that is good on earth.
We join the many others in celebrating a life well lived. We only regret that we did not learn of her passing sooner. God bless the family!

She was so special to our family and a very close friend to my Grandmother (Grace Edwards). Her meekness and tenderness is something that touched others in a way that is rare. Truly blessed are we that knew her and now she is in heaven with Grace and Shaddan Edwards I am quite sure of.

PRAISE GOD for Nannie's loving Christ like heart!!!! Nannie was an awesome soldier for Christ. It fits well that today we Americans honor our Vets, as she was a Veteran for Jesus. She fought the good fight and has won her race!!!! Praise to God for the Christ-like attitude that Nannie taught & lead by example to all of us. We will miss her greatly! To all our extended family, you are in our prayers & we want y'all to feel our love. I will never forget her awesome hugs and awesome smile that always light up any room she came in.

Nannie,
I can hardly believe that you are gone. I will miss you more than you would ever know. I guess I thought you would live forever. I know you are at peace and that you have anticipated the reunion with Papaw and Bobbie Jean that you have finally encountered. I love you so much. You will live in our hearts forever. Thank you for the many many years of love that you have given to us. Rest in peace with the ones that have gone on before.

Dickey, Ginger, Coy, Dusty and all the family,
Tommy and I just want to say how sorry we are to hear about Nanny. We're sorry we are not going to be able to attend, due to all the kids being here this weekend, but please know that our hearts are with you as well as our prayers. For myself, Nanny was truly an inspiration to me and I loved her dearly. She will always hold a special place in my heart. She was beautiful inside and out and raised a beautiful loving family that I know she was so proud of. May God give all of you comfort during this time and for time past as you cherish the sweet memories you will hold in your hearts forever. Much love to all of you.
