Candelari Family,
I played softball against Candi many years a go when we played in the Texas Police Games against the Pasadena Pack. He was a true brother in blue and we loved hanging out with him and his brother officers. I can still see him wearing his Boonie hat. We were saddened to hear of his loss. Our Condolences from the San Antonio Police Department and the Guns softball team. Rest in Peace Warrior. Semper Fi!

Good by Officer Candi. My favorite memory of him is watching him pass out T-Shirts to a group of youngsters. As one kiddo thanked him, I remember him responding "You're welcomed, baby."
He was such a kind and tender man who loved his family and his job. I am so blessed to have known him. Rest in Peace

Julie, I know you are hurting beyond words and will be so for a while to come. Lean on friends and family where you can. One of my favorite memories with Candy was when he leaned on me as I held his arm up for 45 minutes for the Dr. to make it "pretty again" in Bayshore Emergency Room. He loved you and the rest of the family very, very much.
