Lona Olivia Bryars Leith, 90, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend born August 7, 1924, in Vidor, Texas to Wallace and Hessie Stephenson passed away November 28, 2014, in Pasadena, Texas.
She is survived by her sons, Roland Bryars and wife Nancy, Dannie Bryars and wife Patricia, Michael Bryars and wife Elizabeth; grandchildren, Christopher Bryars and wife Carina, Shelley Covington and husband Clay, Leah Bryars Villa and husband Daniel, Danny Joe Bryars; great-grandchildren, Ethan Bryars, Nolan Covington, Autumn Bryars, Olivia Covington; sister, Betty Poland, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, B.H. Bryars, by her second husband, Roger Leith; by her parents, Wallace and Hessie Stephenson; by her sisters and brothers, Virginia Whitmire, Dannie Stephenson, Allen Stephenson, and Aileen Stephenson.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at Rosewood Funeral Home, 3939 Pasadena Blvd., Pasadena, Texas 77503.
The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, December 4, 2014, at Rosewood Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Jack Womack officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery, in Webster, Texas.

I Knew her for a few months. This women was wonderful, and caring. She knew right off the bat if i was upset and she would ask me whats the matter and say stay strong. She was amazing and silly and brightened my day everyday. I will truly miss her. My condolences go out to her family.
