Rex Stuart Obituary

Rex Virgil Stuart, 60, went home to be with the Lord on March 26,2012, his journey complete. Rex was born on March 7, 1952 in Lufkin, Texas to the union of Charles and Connie Stuart. He served dutifully in the United States Navy. He was a man of few words, but many skills. Tinkering in his workshop is what he enjoyed the most. No project too small, no task too complex. Rex was a loving husband and Dad, and an adoring PaPa. He is preceded in death by his parents. Rex is survived by his wife of 41 years, Nancy; three daughters, Michelle Stuart, Amber Harden and husband Wohn and Angella Stuart. He is further survived by eight grandchildren; Brittany, Zachary, Madeleine, Matthew, Sebastian, Lily, Morgan and John. Left to grieve will also be a brother Keith Stuart and his wife Debra, uncle Ronnie McKinney and aunt Myle and numerous other family and friends.

The family will welcome visitors starting at 9 am on Saturday morning March 31 at Rosewood Funeral Home and the service will begin at 10 AM in the Chapel of Rosewood Funeral Home. Dr. Jon Redmond of First Baptist Church of Pasadena will officiate. Final Interment will be in McNiel Cemetery in Huntington, Texas.

In lieu of normal remembrances, the family request donations to the building fund of First Baptist Church of Pasadena in Rex's memory, 7500 Fairmont Pkwy Pasadena, Texas 77505.
