Lynisha Compton

Lynisha "Lovable" Compton, 29, was a funny, bright, and unique soul that left us too soon on Sunday, January 16, 2022. She attended Reading High School and Kutztown University for both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees, and found her passion as a Coordinator of Academic Intervention at Alvernia University. She was caring, sweet, courageous, loving, hilarious and utterly unforgettable. She was absolutely in love with helping and teaching others. Lynisha had a large group of friends and family who loved her unconditionally and will treasure her memory, including her parents, Cynthia and William; siblings, sister Yoshida and twin brother William; niece Jayla and nephew Jayden; grandmother, Veronica Compton; host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her dearest friends: Dylan, Araceli, Kaila, and her mentor, Laura. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 4 p.m. at Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, PA 19611. Friends and family are invited to begin gathering at the funeral home for viewing beginning at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to help defer funeral costs.
