Today I received my St. Olaf Magazine and was saddened at the news of Sarah's passing. She and I were college friends and roomed together on the St. Olaf Choir tour our senior year. Please know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers as I reflect upon the many marvelous memories I have of Sarah. She was a beauty inside and out and she will be missed.

May you be at rest with God. We will miss you dearly. You inspired all of us and were so wonderful in always welcoming "the gang" of girls to your house for many years. My sincerest condolences to Mr. Running, Kate, Micah, and the rest of your family-may they find comfort in your memory and in God.
