Born in Sacramento, CA on February 26, 1988. Entered into rest at the age of 35 in Sacramento, CA on October 29, 2023. He is survived by his mother Robin and his two sisters Jessica and Jeneva. Marcus was a graduate of Valley High School and Grambling State University. Marcus was a prolific lyricist and was an educator who had a passion for mentoring youth in Sacramento. Marcus was a young man full of love, kindness, and compassion. Marcus cherished his family and lifelong friends. Friends and family are invited to his home going celebration on Nov. 13 at 10:00 AM at Midtown Church, 2225 19th Street Sacramento, CA 95818. The viewing will be held at Thompson Funeral Home, 3601 5th Ave., Sacramento, CA 95817, on Friday, Nov. 10 from 2:00-6:00 PM.
