Late of Millbrae and San Mateo County resident for 70 years, entered into rest at his home on March 12, 2023. Beloved husband of Joanna Profumo for 45 years. Loving father of Denise (her husband Raul and his children Mary Jane, Antonio, Jaylene and Jocelyn), the late Danelle, the late John, the late Richard and Gus, Jr. Devoted son of the late Luisa and the late Cornelio Profumo. Also survived by his cherished grandchildren Emiliano, Trinity, Nathan, Gabriel, Raul, Cali, and great granddaughter Serenity.
A native of San Francisco, raised in the Mission District, age 97 years.
A Veteran of the U.S. Army following the final days of World War II.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, March 30, 2023 after 4:00 PM at the CHAPEL OF THE HIGHLANDS, El Camino Real at 194 Millwood Drive in Millbrae, with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Saint Dunstan Catholic Church in Millbrae. Committal will follow at Golden Gate National Cemetery in San Bruno.
His family appreciates donations to Saint Dunstan's Catholic Church, 1133 Broadway, Millbrae, CA 94030.
