Bruce was passionate about the need for better transportation. He knew all the background about transit planning efforts in San Mateo County and embraced new ideas with great enthusiasm. We'll miss him.

My deepest condolences and sadness for Bruce's passing. We knew he was not well---but he was so dynamic and upbeat.
Bruce's wide-ranging interests, intensity, insightfulness and articulateness was always fascinating---and we learned a lot from him. He made a difference in so many endeavors.
We should all emulate his sense of purpose and commitment.
Best Regards,

Over the years, I loved all my visits with Bruce, whether in person or over the phone. He kept me laughing and entertained!
