Dale VINSON Obituary

February 15, 1956 - July 2, 2025

Dale, 69, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Palm Desert, California. Dale was born in Great Falls, Montana, to Don and Delores Vinson. He was raised in the military. As a young boy, he lived in Great Falls, then in Morocco, and by age six had returned to Great Falls. Dale eventually arrived at Fairchild AFB near Spokane, Washington, where his dad had his last military transfer. After graduating at Medical Lake High School, where he played football, Dale joined the military.

Following his short career in the military, Dale ended up in Seattle via Los Angeles and met his wife, Pedie Ann (Holman) Vinson. They were married in Seattle on August 19th, 1995. Dale and Pedie were primarily in the real estate business as realtors and property managers.

Outside of work, Dale had been a loving stepdad to three children, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was always quick with his jokes, loved people and usually the center of attention. He was a lovable, generous human being. He will be missed by so many.

He is survived by his wife, Pedie; his brother and his wife, Curtis and GE Vinson; his sister and her husband, Michelle and Baird Daggett; his stepchildren, Scott, David and Nita; his grandchildren, Marcus, Zachary, Shaelyn, Alyse, Malyiah, Leon and Sabie; and his great-grandchildren, are Madelyn, Nia, A'Mazzi, Arlo, Mason, Gavin and Nora.

We miss you "Uncle Buck".

Dale will be interred at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake. A full military memorial will take place, TBD. There will be no funeral service, but a celebration of life will take place in Palm Desert in the first week of December.

Happy Birthday Mr. Dale, my dear, dear husband. Shay, Maddie, me and friends will be celebrating your life today and I sure wish you could be here to join us. I love you and I miss you everday. Although I still do not understand why you had to go, I know you are at peace and very happy to be reunited with your Mom, Dad, friends and relatives that passed before you. I definitely know you are in our Lord's hands and care. Have a good day. I love you. 143/me

Dale, you will be missed by so many people you have touched. Over the years, Randy and I had so many good memories and good times with you and Pedie. Your laughter, enthusiasm and friendship was always present. I'm sure there will be a "heavenly" party with all your friends and family, and I know Randy will be right there to greet you too!

We were priveledged to have both Dale and Pedie as neighbors when we lived in Edmonds, Wa. Dale was a great man and good friend as well as a most generous and giving man. I cannot say enough
good about him. He will be missed!
