Jeffrey Allums

1967 - 2026

Jeffrey Richard Allums passed away peacefully at VCU Hospital in Richmond VA on Monday February 9, 2026 after a 4 month battle with complications from a kidney stone in his only kidney that led to sepsis.



Born October 5, 1987 in Norfolk, VA Jeff spent his first 12 years in Wilmington NC. Moving to Williamsburg VA in 1979. He attended York County Public schools & graduated from Bruton High School in 1985. He attended the College of William & Mary before moving to Charlottesville VA to manage the Baja Bean Co. restaurant.

After meeting his wife Liz in Ashland VA, with a brief stint in Blacksburg VA, they moved to Richmond VA to open a new Baja Bean. He recently pivoted to the golf industry becoming Ford's Colony Country Club's GM in July.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Louis H. Richard Sr and Eulalie Colbert Richard of Biloxi & his father Larry Allums.



Left to cherish his memory are his wife Liz, daughters Abi & Charlotte, Richmond, mother & stepfather Katheryne & James Dishner, Williamsburg. His siblings Michael & Beth Allums of Richmond VA, and Scott Allums of Texas. As well as his Uncle Everett Richard (Kathy), Saucier, Uncle Louis Richard, Jr (Mary Jane) Crestview FL & Aunt Peggy Mitchell (Fort Walton Beach, FL) many cousins in Biloxi, the Dick Family, Stentz Family, & Craft Family.



A Celebration of remembrance will be held Saturday March 7 at 2:00 pm at the Brandermill Presbyterian Church, 4500 Milridge Parkway, Midlotian, VA 23112 and then gather at Station 2 restaurant at 2016 E. Main St Richmond VA 23223 from 4-6 PM.



The family will be forever grateful for all the many prayers offered up for Jeff in hopes of his recovery.
