Thank you to Mrs. Moir for helping me to find my passion - science! It was the freshman year (1976!) research project that I did on water quality that hooked me forever. I have been a scientist and an educator for most of my career, and it was with Mrs. Moir's encouragement and enthusiasm that brought me here. I am so sorry for your loss, but know that her influence was appreciated!

Maureen was my best friend throughout grades kindergarten to sixth grade at Harlow Street School and then at Belmont Preparatory School for seventh and eighth grade.. We remained friends during our high school years and said our good byes when Maureen entered the convent. Even then we communicated . We lost touch afterwards but the memories remain of all we shared.
I remember Jane who is my sister's age.
I extend my sincere sympathy to all of her family and read with joy all she accomplished in her life-always helping others.
Rest in peace dear friend.
Sincerely,
