Seth David Abramson, 44, of Los Angeles, California, died suddenly of a heart attack on 2/13/96. Born on October 18, 1951, in Norwalk Hospital, Connecticut, Seth was the son of the late Leonard Abramson and the late Ethel Sakowitz Abramson. He was lovingly remembered by his mother and sister Kim and respected by his brothers Paul and Keith (the latter of whom is also now deceased).
Seth grew up in Norwalk and graduated from Norwalk High School. While a senior in high school, Seth was ranked the #1 trumpet player in the state. He then went to college - on a music scholarship - at the University of Alabama. After graduating, Seth did a master's degree in biochemistry at the University of Connecticut. From there, Seth then completed a master's degree in environmental science at UCLA and eventually finalized his academic trajectory by obtaining a Ph.D. in systems engineering, also at UCLA. His dissertation is titled "A Predictive Model for Anaerobic Filters Treating Low Strength Domestic Wastewaters". When his interests became more entrepreneurial, Seth then added an additional degree to his resume. A master's degree in business administration from the University of Southern California.
