Kenneth Sr.
Kenneth Borek Sr., age 62, passed at home on July 9, 2016. He was born on August 10, 1953, in Toledo, Ohio.
Ken graduated from DeVilbiss High School. He retired from Chrysler Jeep after 37 years. Ken enjoyed taking walks and back-packing. Ken was passionate about sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys and Ohio State Buckeyes. He also enjoyed the Detroit Tigers and golfing. Ken absolutely adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with them. He loved to watch them play baseball and was their biggest fan.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 36 years, Theresa; son and daughter-in-law, Ken Jr. and Tabatha; grandchildren, Brianna, Tristan, Jonah and Norah; brother, Terry (Kathie) Borek; brothers-in-law, Dan and Richard Leiter; sister-in-law, Karen Stewart, Marsha Ellis, Debbie (Denny) Buck. Ken was preceded in death by his son, David; parents, Clem and Rose; brother, Robert; mother and father-in-law, Marietta and Charles Leiter and best buddy, David Christian.
The family will receive guests on Friday, July 22, 2016, from Noon - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 6:00 p.m.
