Albert LaPierre Obituary

WRENTHAM - Albert A. LaPierre, 93, of Wrentham, passed peacefully on January 4, 2018 at the Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was the loving husband of the late Emma I. (Corbett) LaPierre who passed in 2016.
Born in Norfolk, MA on November 28, 1924, he was a son of the late Armand and Virginia (Jean) LaPierre. Albert worked many years as a union laborer in the construction industry prior to retirement. He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. He served his country proudly as a member of the US Navy during World War II.
Albert is survived by his children; Joyce Smith and her husband Robert of Wrentham, Robert LaPierre and his wife Kathy of Michigan, and Mark LaPierre and his wife Nancy of Virginia. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was the father of the late Peter LaPierre and brother of the late Herve LaPierre, Ernest LaPierre, and Annette (LaPierre) Woolford.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 10:30 AM in St. Mary's Church, 130 South Street, Wrentham. Burial with full military honors will follow in Wrentham Center Cemetery. Online guestbook may be found at
