Noella M. Theroux

1926 - 2024

BELLINGHAM - Noella M. (Paquin) Theroux, 97, of Bellingham, MA passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2024 at The Friendly Home with family by her side. She is the beloved wife of the late Arthur A. Theroux and the loving mother of Susan T. Giguere and her husband Gerald, and David O. Theroux and his wife Angela all of Bellingham, MA. She leaves her cherished grandchildren Britanny Plaisance and her husband, Rafe of Larose, LA, Rachel Giguere and her companion Hans Meyer of Warwick, RI, and great-grandsons Madden and Hayden Plaisance.
Born in Blackstone, MA on December 25, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Alboma (Gagnon) Paquin. She was predeceased by her siblings Ephrem Paquin, Lionel Paquin, Mathilda Desjardins, Theresa Asselin, Bella Robidoux, and Mary Madeline Paquin. She leaves her sister-in-law Annette Carigan of Florida, and nieces and nephews.
She was a lifelong resident of Bellingham and worked as a stitcher for Jacob Finkelstein & Sons for 45 years, and then 5 years at Needlecraft both in Woonsocket, RI. She was a communicant and member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of the former Assumption Church in Bellingham. She was a member of St. Joseph Seniors, St. Agatha Seniors and Bellingham Seniors. She enjoyed traveling, camping, cruising and visits to the casinos. She will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd at 9AM from Cartier's Funeral Home, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at St. Joseph's Church, 1200 Mendon Road, Woonsocket, RI. Burial will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
Visiting hours are on Tuesday, October 22nd from 5PM to 7PM at the funeral home.
