Wendell N. Moore

1940 - 2016

HYANNIS - Wendell N. Moore born August 2nd, 1940, of Hyannis, MA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 22nd, 2016 at Cape Cod Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Lillian (Lagerstrom) Moore. Born in Pawtucket, RI. the son of the late David Moore Jr. and Isabel (Niles) Moore.
He lived in Lincoln, RI for most of his life, attended URI and was a graduate of DeVry University. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran who served during the Vietnam Conflict. Mr. Moore worked for Blackstone Valley Electric, now National Grid, for over 35 years. He retired and moved to Cape Cod in 2001 where he found employment with Hyline Cruises in the property maintenance department. He worked for Hyline for 13 years gaining may new and dear friends in Hyannis. He was a member of the Hyannis Golf Club and was an avid golfer who loved the sport.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Mark W. Moore and his wife Patricia of Newburyport, MA, and Matthew W. Moore and his wife Kimberly of San Marcos, CA, a step-daughter Keriellen Lohrman and her husband Griffith of Naples, FL. He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and several wonderful nieces and nephews.
