Debra Kopecki Obituary
York - Debra Jean (Green) Kopecki, age 69, passed away on June 21, 2021 at York Hospital. She was the loving wife of Richard Kopecki; together they shared 49 years of marriage.
Debra was born on September 10, 1951 and was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Dorothy (Raub) Green. She spent most of her life working in Human Resources before retiring. Debra enjoyed cooking, riding motorcycles, and traveling with her husband; together they traveled through much of Europe and the Caribbean. She was a member of St. John Episcopal in York for many years.
In addition to her husband Richard, Debra is survived by her sister Patti Green; her brother Robert E. Green Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Dorothy.
The family services are being held privately under the direction of Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. of East York.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Debra's memory can be made to the Crispus Attucks Charter School, 605 S. Duke St. York PA 17401, or the St. John Episcopal Church, 140 N. Beaver St. York PA 17401.

Rich I am so sorry to hear of Debra's passing over life's bridge. She always made me feel better about ushering when she found out I was not comfortable with it. She dressed impeccably and I adored her daring to wear hats in this day and age. Thinking about you.

Having worked with Deb for 20 years, l got to know her as a kind and caring woman who never wanted any recognition and was always willing to help. I will miss her. She was a very special person. Rich, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
