I just searched Dr. Bowe, my Anatomy & Physiology professor at MCV and saw that he passed away ten years ago. I would just like to say, that he was my most favorite teacher. I came to MCV as an R.N. getting my BSN. Not only did I loved his sense of humor, I finally found a teacher that gave me the "why" behind the information being taught, not just facts to memorize. I greatly admired him.

Some of my warmest memories of covering MCV for the Times-Dispatch were the occasional afternoon coffee-sharing chats I had with Dr. Bowe in the Skull and Bones. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was a joy to know.
