Shirle Husted Obituary

HUSTED Shirle Mae Husted (nee Wilson), 84, of Columbus, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 6, 2012. Born and raised in Chicago, Shirle lived in a number of places including: Arlington Heights, Illinois; Chappaqua, New York; and Columbus, where she resided for over 40 years. She was an editor, writer, and journalist, as well having held a number of positions of capacity in her over 20 year career at Ohio State University. Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dear friend; she will be greatly missed and always remembered. Survived by sons, Robert (Nancy) of Worthington and John (Marty) of Columbus; and daughter, Deborah (Tim) Koshinsky of Chandler, Arizona; four grandchildren, Angela, Emily, Forrest, and Hilary; and two great-grandchildren, Madelyn Grace and Ava Patricia. Friends may call Tuesday, July 10, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 9:30 a.m., immediately followed by interment at Union Cemetery. Friends who wish may contribute to The Columbus Zoo or any charitable organization of choice in Shirle's memory. Online condolences may be made to www.schoedinger.com
