Jacob J. "Jake" Gorzinski, 89, of Auburn, Michigan, a pipefitter with Dow Chemical Company in Midland, Michigan, before his retirement, passed away at Bay Regional Medical Center on the morning of Tuesday, December 10, 2002. Calling hours are scheduled for Thursday, December 12, 2002, 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc., 201 West Midland Street, Bay City, Michigan. Recitation of the rosary is scheduled for Thursday, 7 p.m., at the funeral home. Lying in state on Friday, December 13, 9-10 a.m., at St. Valentine Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, 10 a.m., at the church, officiated by the Rev. Fr. Richard C. Ratajczek. A Rite of Committal will follow at St. Valentine Cemetery.
