Richard Sylvester Thomas, Jr., age 67, of Douglasville passed away Friday, June 2, 2023. He was born June 18, 1955 in St. Louis, MO. Son of the late Mr. Richard Sylvester Thomas, Sr. and Mrs. Katie Davidson. Mr. Thomas was very family oriented and enjoyed watching comedy. He was known for giving great advice.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his son, Richard Thomas.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Tamara Thomas of Douglasville; mother, Katie Thomas; daughter, Tandalaya (Dorian) Shelton of St. Louis, MO; son, Richard Thomas, III of St. Louis, MO; sisters, Debra, Richetta, Marlo, Michelle; brother, Andre; grandchildren, Tontalisha, Denishea, Katie, Diamond and Mariah.
According to Mr. Thomas’ wishes he was cremated. No services planned at this time.
