Brian was born on October 1, 1971 in Topeka, Kansas. The son of Betty Runnebaum Privott and Lee Privott.
Brian graduated from Shawnee Heights High School. After graduation he went to work for Walmart and worked part time for Bennigans. After eight years at Walmart he went to work for Dillons and continued working part time at Bennigans. He received employee of the month from Dillons. He worked for Dillons for 17 years until he had to retire due to his health. Brian was not afraid of hard work. It was obvious in his hard work ethic.
Brian was a member of St. Matthew's Church and a member of the 13012 Knights of Columbus. He was nominated Knight of the Month 4 times.
Brian enjoyed being with family, traveling, working in the yard, taking his dog Coco for walks, and walking at Lake Shawnee.
He was an avid K-State and Chiefs fan. He enjoyed going to the games every chance he got.
Brian is survived by his mother; brother Scott (Amy); Niece Karly (Brent); great-nephew Ryker; and nephews Riley (Shelbe), and Connor.
Brian was preceded in death by his father, maternal and paternal grandparents.
Brian's family would like to thank his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends for the road trips, meals out, game nights, and all the many phone calls. He loved you all very much.
Visitation will be 5 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614. Rosary to follow at 6:30. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, September 30, 2024, at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 2077 SW Virginia Ave. Topeka KS 66605. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at West Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Care Hospice, Helping Hands Humane Society, or St. Matthew Catholic Church in care of the funeral home.

Brian was one of the most delightful people we knew. When Chuck & I would see him at Dillon's he would always greet us by name & seemed so happy to see us. He Never stopped working but would tell us that Rich had taken him to a K State football game, or which family members he had seen that he knew we knew, just the latest family news. He will be missed by so many people and our love goes out to Betty, Scott, Amy and all the family, Sue & Chuck Lyon
