Charles McGee Obituary

Passed away peacefully on November 5, 2023, at the age of 94 in Sierra Madre, California. Chuck was born in Grand Ledge, Michigan on May 12, 1929, to Caroline and Harland McGee. After graduating from Perry High School Chuck served in the U.S. Army. He was stationed in Alaska during the Korean War. Upon his discharge Chuck started his 40-year career at Michigan Bell Telephone Company. In 2008, he married his high school sweetheart, Joan Bachman and moved to her home in California. Chuck and Joan spent their time going on cruises, going for walks, playing chair volleyball, and were very active at Royal Oaks in Bradbury, California.
He is survived by his wife Joan; 3 children, Deborah (Roy) Brown, Mark (Susan) McGee, Kim McGee; 6 grandchildren, Andrea (David) Conrad, Wesley (Ben) Cronkright, Mark (Krysta) McGee II, Carson Brown, Austin (Brett) Williamson, Madison Sinderman; 5 great grandchildren, Grace Cronkright, Christian McGee, Avery Campbell, Liam Cronkright, Levi Williamson.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to the Mills Funeral Home, Shelly-Odell Chapel in Eaton Rapids. To leave condolences for the family, visit www.millsfuneral.com.
