He loved his "abundant" grandchildren called the "baby crush" of the mid 70's, including all of his sibling's babies, now adults with grown children. Logan's favorite food was catfish and chicken thighs and was indulged to his content in his older years in life. Logan was a solid built 6'1, 200pds and very strong even until his recent illness that proceeded rapidly and unexpectedly this middle week of February 2023. He would have enjoyed his ceremony today honoring his life and especially the Grove American Legion Honor Guard and the coming together of his loved ones and friends. Logan was well liked and congenial. He was happy telling stories of his early years and family life with excellent recall. He had a beautiful singing voice and we all loved hearing him sing. We will hear his favorite gospel songs today. Putting our beloved Logan to rest is both sad and bittersweet as his love of life prevailed unto his death.
